Job DescriptionJob Description

Ellison Brewery in East Lansing, MI is looking for one assistant brewer to join our 42 person strong team. We are located on 4903 Dawn Ave. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

  • Operating 60-CPM MC-MAX canning line.
  • Understanding and implementation of standard food safety standards and practices.
  • Performing proper cleaning and sanitation of beverage tools and materials.
  • Production and packaging of beverages.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized production environment.
  • Oversight of Production and Packaging crew for Task-at-Hand.

Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of physics.
  • Plumbing and/or HVAC experience a plus, not necessary.
  • Experience within a food / beverage production or packaging environment a plus.
  • Forklift experience a plus, not necessary.
  • Able to lift 75 lbs.
  • Capable of extended periods of physical exertion when necessary.

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $17.00 - $18.00/hour.
