Soccer Shots Greater St. Louis is looking for a passionate full-time soccer coach to serve children ages 2-8.

Soccer Shots is an engaging childrens soccer experience with a focus on character development. We positively impact children, ages 2-8, through the game of soccer. Our coaches are the best-trained in the business. Our expert-approved curriculum is age-appropriate and aligns with childhood education standards. In addition, we provide an exceptional customer experience and consistent communication with those we serve.

Chesterfield, MO + 15 mi radius
The Job:
- Bring Soccer Island alive with your enthusiasm and creativity.
- Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.
- Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
- Utilize expert-created Soccer Shots curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session.
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
- Follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.
- Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Confidently competent; demonstrated experience engaging and enthusiastically leading children between the ages of 2-8. Experience with soccer (player, coach, etc). Early Childhood Education background preferred but not required. Gifted with patience, excellent imagination, and stellar silly face.
- Caring and others-oriented; known for engaging with children through specific and positive affirmations. Fervent in ensuring the safety and health of those we serve.
- Learning mindset; motivated and seeking growth, professional development, and continuous improvement.
- Driven and responsible, known for delivering results, honoring commitments, being organized and on-time.
- Believes the team comes before self and is team-oriented but is also comfortable working individually and/or remotely throughout the week.
- Thoughtful and professional communicator; shares perspectives, ideas, and feedback willingly and constructively.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have reliable transportation and active mobile phone with data plan.
Must successfully pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check and complete fingerprinting through MOVECHS.
Ability to stand, jog, and model childrens soccer skills.
Applicant minimum age: 18 years old

- Mondays through Fridays: Daytime hours; typical day starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends before 5:00 p.m.
- Saturdays: optional opportunity for additional hours between 8:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. as needed.
