ENGINEERING CAD TECHNICIAN

Crawford, Murphy & Tilly (CMT), named a “Zweig Group’s “Best Firms to Work For.” is a consulting firm with a team of engineers, planners and other related design professionals is actively seeking to add a 0–4-year entry-level Engineering CAD Technician to our Surface Transportation Team. This role will support the team while providing the opportunity to experience new challenges in a dynamic environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop exhibits and construction plans for Water Resources projects
  • Work closely with Civil, Structural, Electrical, Mechanical Engineers as well as Architects.
  • Provide technical support and assistance across the team

Position Requirements:

  • Associate degree or certificate in Civil Engineering Technology, Computer Aided Drafting, or similar, or High School degree (GED) with relevant experience
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook and Teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers and clients
  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred skills:

  • Familiarity with Infraworks
  • Familiarity with ArcMap
