Requirements:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Experience using power tools and hand tools
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects and working in tight spaces
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent problem-solving skills

As a Carman, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and functionality of railway cars and equipment. Your mechanical knowledge, along with your ability to use power tools and hand tools, will be essential in performing maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting mechanical issues, as well as conducting routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will be key in maintaining accurate records of work performed. This position may grow into a supervisory role as well as have a training aspect where you will educate fellow coworkers in car repair skills, duties, safety, and other aspects.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
