Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse
Location: New York, NY

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
  • Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy.
  • Administer conscious sedation and monitor patient responses.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of all Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure a sterile environment within the Cath Lab.
  • Educate patients and their families about procedures, treatments, and post-procedure care.

Required Experience:

  • Critical Care Experience: Minimum of 2 years.
  • IV Insertion and Phlebotomy Skills: Proficient.
  • Conscious Sedation Experience: Essential.

Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
