YOUR ROLE:
This role is responsible for leading and managing sales professionals across multiple teams to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives for the fixed annuity product line at Financial Independence Group. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, driving recruitment of new advisors and offices, and building strong relationships with insurance carrier partners to maximize value delivered to FIG. This is an in-office opportunity at the FIG headquarters outside Charlotte, North Carolina.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Develop and implement sales plans to achieve company objectives for fixed and fixed indexed annuity sales
- Create and communicate impactful sales ideas and techniques to position fixed and fixed indexed annuity solutions for financial professionals and their clients
- Lead and motivate Private Client Group sales teams to meet or exceed sales targets and performance/activity metrics
- Coach and develop team of early-career Sales Recruiters
- Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to all sales professionals
- Analyze trends inside and outside the organization to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization
- Collaborate with marketing and carrier partners to develop and/or leverage effective sales collateral
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to develop competitive positioning and recruiting messages to differentiate our offering
- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership to communicate sales and recruiting performance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards related to annuity sales
WHY YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- Track record of success in annuity sales leadership roles, with at least ten total years of experience in financial services or insurance industry
- In-depth knowledge of annuity products, market trends, and regulatory requirements
- Experience in the Independent Marketing Organization channel preferred
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate a team
- Experience working with annuity carriers and managing relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in CRM software, reporting, analysis
- FINRA Series 6 or 7, and 63 licenses required, Series 24 preferred
This role is salaried plus bonus and will be 100% onsite Monday - Friday (with the exception of Tuesdays) during normal business hours (8:30am – 5:30pm). Additionally, F.I.G. offers health, dental, & vision coverage, 401k, and a generous PTO plan.
