Farmers Financial Services Agent


As a District Life Insurance Specialist, you will support our agents as they quote, underwrite and issue life insurance policies. You act with speed, composure, compassion and knowledge to solve problems. The work you do every day is the heart of our business. The District Life Insurance Specialist will be responsible for enhancing our agents' competitive position and to increase sales production through effective communication of product knowledge, illustration support, and resolution of agent problems. This position will provide field support by serving as a direct liaison with our agents.

Essential Functions:

o As a District Life Insurance Specialist, you will use your excellent communication and sales skills to provide detailed product information and respond to inquiries.

o Receiving inbound and/or outbound calls you will focus on agent relationship development, sales, and quality retention. o Demonstrate a competitive drive and desire to succeed established goals, key metrics, standard of performance and compliance. o Develop rapport quickly with agents, internal departments and external sales contacts to achieve sales goals.

o Demonstrate a competitive nature and ability to take action with limited supervision

o Respond to marketing support calls from our agents

o Serves as a product, marketing, sales and illustration resource to the agents and their clientele

o Assist agents with product selection/marketing related questions

o Assist agents with illustration design and software related issues

o Develop leads from reactive inbound calls and refer leads to agents The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

o Strong sales skills. o Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written o Strong Analytical skills

o Ability to learn new skills in a short amount of time

o Ability to prioritize responsibilities and multitask throughout the day

o Banking and/or financial services experience preferred, but not required o Prior call or sales experience is a plus

o Life and Health license preferred

o Series 6, 63 licenses preferred

Requirements

Licensing & Experience

Must have Series 6 or 7, Series 63, and state life insurance license

At least 1 year of customer facing sales experience in the Life and Financial Services industry
