The Warehouse Associate, reporting into the Logistics Department, focuses on outbound material and successfully delivering to Boston BioProduct's many clients. This position requires the ability to package and handle all company material, and prepare it for delivery following all necessary standards and regulations.


Accountabilities


  • Package outgoing orders for shipment
  • Perform heavy loading and unloading in shipment and delivery process
  • Assemble and prepare product in preparation for delivery
  • Assemble and gather packaging materials; keeping enough stock on handle to accommodate for the possibility of acute increases in shipping demands
  • Maintain electronic records of shipped products and tracking information 
  • Maintain a safe and clean facility
  • Assess outgoing packages thoroughly prior to shipment (QC check)
  • Allocate space for raw materials and finished product
  • Confirm sensitive materials are in correct temperature environments
  • Ensure safe storage of hazardous materials and proper repositories 
  • Keep and maintain comprehensive records and logs of current inventory and assets (finished products)
  • Compile and maintain organized and detailed reports of raw material amounts with respect to storage and space considerations


Skills and Experience


  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree or above preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and email
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with customer support
  • Ability to learn quickly within operational and system programs
  • Lift heavy objects overhead (75 lbs or greater)
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
