Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHoover Energy Services has openings for Automation Technician I to help expand our efforts in the fast paced, and growing oil and gas market in the Permian Basin of West Texas and New Mexico.
Ideal Automation Technician I would have experience in the following:
  • Learning Basic IO
  • Learning Analog Input + Output Wiring
  • Learning Digital Inputs + Outputs Wiring
  • Learning Comms Ethernet
  • Learning Comms RS485/RS232
  • Learning Modbus
  • Learning Device Functions
  • Learning Device Configurations
  • Learning Wiring Relays + Panels
  • Learning How To Use Tools
  • Ability to work in a team environment or alone with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to communicate verbally and in writing to other team members, as well as customers.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Be able to pass a physical and drug screen including random drug screening.

Experience:1+ Years of experience as an Automation Tech
