Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee supply chain areas including procurement, inventory planning and allocations to all locations, shipping, receiving, warehousing, and transportation/logistics

  • Help build a world-class team, working to build and refine existing processes

  • Develop and maintain the S&OP process to drive alignment of planning, procurement and sales.

  • Foster a culture of safety, continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, winning through customers, respect for each other, and process

  • Develop, lead and execute a vendor management process that optimizes cost, delivery and quality.

  • Plan and control budgeted expenses with purchasing and logistics operations with a keen eye for cost efficiencies

  • Oversee inventory flow and management activities including tracking of physical inventories with key focus on Days on Hand and aging product.

  • Negotiate shipping and purchasing with partners, delivering the best financial controls possible.

  • Plans and manages the annual budgeting process for supply chain areas and monitors performance against the same on a monthly basis throughout the plan period.

  • Develops management reports for tracking performance against plans and issues on a periodic basis.

  • Analyze training needs and develops training programs and agenda for career development of all personnel.

  • Establishes effective communications with other functional areas throughout the corporation to ensure success of corporate strategic plan.

  • Monitors vendor performance to ensure highest quality and service levels on both incoming and outgoing products/materials.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and respond quickly to drive efficiencies in overall supply chain performance.


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

  1. Keen supplier negotiations and relationship management skills - domestic and global suppliers

  2. Knowledgeable in Material Resource Planning (MRP)

  3. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience manage complex environments

  4. Managed direct reports with oversight of all supply chain activities

  5. Generalized computer skills with use of systems and applications (excel, google sheets, etc)

  6. Detail oriented

  7. Ability to work under pressure.

  8. Ability to work independently

  9. High-energy, enthusiasm and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

  10. At least 21 years of age.

  11. No drug related felony; ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
