Job Overview:

Warehouse Delivery Drivers (non-CDL) are critical members of our team. They ensure our products are received, stored, and delivered accurately and timely. Drivers are expected to maintain a professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving while providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships.

You will drive a Company vehicle along assigned routes to deliver tires to various locations. When driving, you will be behind the wheel of a well-maintained, clean, and modern TireDispatch.com-branded van or small box truck and be part of a motivated team that safely processes and delivers tires. You will be home every evening/night.

As a Warehouse Delivery Driver associate, you may also participate in various tire distribution functions inside our warehouse, assisting in the receipt, storage, loading and unloading, and inventory of tires.

Duties And Responsibilities May Include:

  • Prepares orders by pulling from stock to meet delivery requirements.
  • Counts material to confirm the ship/receive quantity of all deliveries.
  • Loads delivery vehicles and ensures that all items are accurate and properly secured.
  • Unload products from the vehicle by hand and place them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Cleans, services, and maintains delivery vehicles, including washing and checking tires, gasoline, oil, and water levels; runs safety checks on assigned vehicles.
  • Reviews and verifies invoices, purchase requests, or sales orders to ensure accuracy.
  • Collects and submits payments as per company policy.
  • May receive, store, pick, and load tires within the warehouse.
  • May assistsin inventory maintenance and inventory counts and keeps quality standards high for audits.
  • Complies with all safety policies and procedures, as well as DOT and OSHA requirements.
  • Other duties are assigned as needed.

Experience:

  • 1+ years of Driving a box truck, light van, or delivery car (Required)
  • 1+ years of Route delivery experience (Preferred).
  • 1+ years in a Customer service position (Preferred).
  • 1+ years of Warehouse experience (Preferred).
  • 1-2 years Cherry picker (Preferred).

Qualifications:

  • 25 years or older with a valid US Driver's License (Required).
  • Must have a clean driving history. (Required)
  • Must maintain a safe driving record, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with weather/road conditions (Required).
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred).
  • Must have good English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills.
  • Must maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.

Target Based Range:

  • $18.00 - 19.00 per hour.

Other Skills:

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Must have a good understanding of road rules and the use of GPS.
  • Ability to manage map routes and time schedules.

Physical Demands:

  • Heavy Lifting - occasionally lifts, pushes, or moves a product that weighs 25-75 pounds unassisted.
  • Occasionally reach up to 72" to stack and unstack product.
  • Constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading, and retrieving items.
  • Frequently required to sit for 3 or more hours.
  • Frequently required to stand for 3 or more hours.
  • It may include transporting products down ramps, stairs, or docks.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time.

Schedule:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or until completion of deliveries.
  • 8-10-hour shifts are typical on a four or five-day workweek.
  • Work schedules vary between Monday - Saturday. No Sundays.
