Office Surveyor

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMBS is hiring Office Surveyor in Cincinnati, OH This position is a full-time, direct to hire opportunity. FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in managing the survey department function.
• Preparing estimates and writing proposals.
• Assist in scheduling of the survey crews.
• Determining the most appropriate project approach.
• Field data preparation, record research, processing the field data, verifying the accuracy of survey data, survey calculations.
• Managing the base mapping process, preparing plats and easements.
• Ensuring the safety of the survey's crews.
• Maintaining equipment.

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of related work experience.
• Ohio or Kentucky P.S. license is required.
• Experience managing and directing survey crews & staff.
• Proven track record of increasing levels of responsibility.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Management experience of land development projects.
• GIS oversight and laser scanning experience helpful
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D needed, Trimble product experience helpful.
• Must be able to work with others in a team environment.
