Residential Electrician

Universal Power And Electric is seeking an experienced and skilled Residential Electrician to join our team. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that electrical systems are functioning properly and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential properties and some light commercial
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine appropriate solutions
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Perform electrical upgrades and installations
• Install electrical outlets, switches, and fixtures
• Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes
• Test electrical systems and diagnose problems
• Provide excellent customer service to clients
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or on the job training
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an electrician 
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
