About Our Opportunity
We are seeking a Press Helper for our Louisville manufacturing facility. A Press Helper is responsible for all activities associated with supporting the Press Department with print design set up, operation, clean up, and staging materials.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, install, and repair both high and low voltage systems (480V, 240V, 24VDC).
- Installation and programming of variable frequency drives.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
- Repair and install mechanical gear train systems.
- Perform routine machine change-over activities which include tooling and machine parameter set-up
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair packaging and conveyor systems
- Minor equipment fabrication.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma.
- Experience working in manufacturing environment preferred.
- Flexibility to work any shift, overtime, and weekends as needed.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- 1+ years of packaging equipment experience
- Industrial wiring experience a plus
- Basic math and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
