Overview
A rapidly expanding company in Provo, Utah, is currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven M&A Director with expertise in acquisition strategy. This role is critical to the company's growth, as the director will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to acquire potential dental practices and partners that align with the company's expansion goals. The M&A Director (Acquisition Strategy) will serve as the main point of contact for all M&A interactions, building relationships with potential partners and representing the company in negotiations.
Responsibilities:
- Originate and Manage Deals: Build and manage relationships with potential acquisition targets, develop a robust pipeline of promising businesses, and champion our value proposition to partners and stakeholders. Lead initial discussions to assess target compatibility and ensure a strong strategic fit.
- Navigate Transactions: Establish valuation parameters, expertly negotiate key terms, and conduct thorough due diligence to secure successful deals.
- Foster Collaboration: Build strong internal and external partnerships to ensure smooth deal flow. Assist with drafting investment memorandums and maintain an active deal pipeline.
- Drive Results: Update senior leadership on progress and ensure the team achieves annual acquisition targets. Perform other M&A-related duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Proven M&A leader with 8+ years of experience in the merger and acquisition field.
- Consistent track record of exceeding business development and acquisition targets.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple prospects.
- Analytical mindset with a willingness to adapt processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High-energy, confident, and builds rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
- Collaborative team player with a partnership focus.
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to work beyond standard business hours when necessary.
