Atlanta Paving & Concrete Construction, Inc has an immediate opening for an experienced Asphalt Paving Distributor Operator. This person must possess knowledge of paving equipment, tools and the different skill sets required to complete an asphalt paving project with a distributor machine. This is a salaried position that comes with benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be professional and courteous when dealing with customers and the public;

  • Submit detailed daily records to the Paving Foremen and/or the Inspector;

  • Must follow all company safety policies and all OSHA rules and regulations;

  • Schedule proper maintenance for all assigned equipment;

  • Coordinate with Paving Foremen for daily projects and how they plan to lay the project out for paving;

  • Ensure that the material in the required specifications for each project;

  • Load material into the distributor;

  • Keep distributor clean, including spray nozzles and spray hose;

  • Be able to work days and/or nights;

  • Arrive on projects on time with material at the required temperature to apply tack coat;

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement;
  • Clean driving record;
  • Must pass drug & background check;
  • Minimum 1 year asphalt distributor experience;
  • Self motivated and punctual;
  • High school diploma or GED;
  • Ability to travel out of town if required
