Mutual of Omaha Mortgage is a full service lending division offering a complete line of residential Forward and Reverse mortgages. We employ a knowledgeable staff of experienced Loan Officers with an operations team that is second to none

The Work:

We are seeking an individual who is detail oriented and willing to join a fast pace, time sensitive and constantly changing environment.

This position will be in charge of high level sales recruitment, recruiting for technical roles (Salesforce, System Administrator position etc.) and Corporate Administrative roles. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies to attract top-tier candidates. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in recruitment.

Compensation will consist of a base pay (60-80K) + bonus per hire depending on source and role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment plans.
  • Source and attract top talent through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates to assess their qualifications, skills, and fit for the organization.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process from initial contact to offer acceptance, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in recruitment and talent acquisition.
  • Utilize recruitment metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruiting strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in the mortgage or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage lending process and terminology.
  • Proven track record of successfully recruiting and hiring top talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools/software.
