Confectionary Cupboard in Mentor, OH is looking for one bakery kitchen assistant to join our 9 person strong team. We are located on 7300 Center St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and engaged.


We are looking to grow our baking team with a person that:

  • Is 18+
  • Has bakery experience and/or formal school training for this position
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Has recipe creativity
  • Is available 4 to 5 shifts per week (20-25 hours a week) including Friday and Saturday. (Some shifts begin between 5 am to 6 am)
  • Flexibility when it comes to scheduling
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Exceptional multitasker


Responsibilities

  • Mix, prepare, and bake cupcakes as well as other pastries
  • Operate large baking equipment and ovens
  • Participate in the receiving, and stocking of all bakery ingredients and products
  • Prep and make buttercream
  • Frost and decorate daily cupcakes
  • Kitchen duties & general clean up and organization
  • Packing and boxing orders of cupcakes
  • Working solo morning baking (6am - 12pm)
  • All candidates must have the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Occasional closing shifts when needed (12pm-6pm)
