Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOnsite Lead Job Description:The position of onsite Working lead is a highly trustworthy position responsible for providing direct oversight to the performance of work as defined by the individual contract requirement.
Job duties and Responsibilities:
  • Onsite Leads will be managing all employee engagements including checking in Peoplelink Associates utilizing the Kronos Clock.
  • Peoplelink working leads will be conducting daily safety walks, coaching, and counseling Peoplelink associates.
  • Onsite Leads will be managing orientation/tours within the Blue Buffalo Plant.
  • Onsite Leads will be responsible for filling out the Peoplelink associates workers comp investigation packet.
  • Maintain effective communication with the client (point of contact), with Human Resource staff and with the contract manager.
  • Assign work and monitor its performance within shift or sites to assure that all contract requirements are met; that all policies and procedures are adhered to, and that all objectives are met
  • Assure that all employees are trained in proper techniques for the efficient, safe, and quality performance of their job(s).
  • Quality control function requires regular written on-site inspections conducted with employee with employee and/or customer.
  • Monitors staffing levels to satisfy Scope of Work while remaining within target labor hours
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies always required for successful performance of the contract
  • Requires a satisfactory working knowledge in all major areas of building
  • May be required to attend scheduled training sessions conducted by Blue Buffalo and Peoplelink
  • Knowledge of computers including spreadsheet, word processing and other necessary systems as determined by management.
  • Ability to fill out clear, legible written reports, payroll records, quality control inspections, employee evaluations, safety and other forms as needed.
  • Expertise in communicating basic tasks in a simple format to line workers.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and implement the Scope of Work for a contract and communicate that knowledge to workers.
This position requires a moderate level of communication skills related to training line workers, as well as relating positively to workers. Requires high standards and the ability to correct deficiencies, the goal should be a constant improvement in overall performance at each contract while operating within budget guidelines.
