Diesel Mechanic Technician Duties:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
  • Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
  • Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
  • Replace clutches & transmissions

Refrigeration Technician Duties:

  • Perform general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 refrigeration vehicles
  • Diagnose, document, and repair refrigeration equipment following proper warranty procedures

Requirements

  • Prior experience working as a diesel mechanic, reefer mechanic (with 608 certification), fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
  • Experience or formal training diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Class 1-7 diesel tractors or diesel refrigeration units
  • A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
  • Hand tools
  • Ability to work:
    • 1st or 2nd shift: Monday through Friday 7 AM - 3 PM OR 2 PM - 10:30 PM
    • 3rd shift: Tuesday through Saturday 12 AM - 8 AM
    • Part Time: Monday through Friday 3 PM -7 PM OR 2 Full Weekend Days (8-10 hours)
    • Lead Technician/Working Foreman: Saturday & Sunday on 1st Shift and flexible on other days
