Collections Clerk

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSnelling Staffing Services is looking for a Collections Clerk who can assist our client in achieving their financial goals. The Collections Clerk will be responsible for reviewing each account to determine the best approach for payment, and then executing a plan to bring in the maximum amount of revenue. The Collections Clerk is a temp to hire job with a Monday – Friday 8-5 schedule $17.00 per hour plus benefits
Collections Clerk Features:
• Research each account using company records and Internet resources that are made available
• Conduct custom collections campaigns on each client that consist of emails, phone calls and standard mail correspondence
• Develop collections methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company financial goals
• Work closely with team members to create ways to bring in revenue and find success as a group
• Solve problems quickly and create resolutions that bring in revenue on a regular basis
Collections Clerk Skills:
• High school diploma/GED required
• Proficiency with database software and MS Office suite
• Proven ability to overcome obstacles and get results
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• 2 years’ experience in collections, telephone sales, or other related position- Required prefer finance company experience.
Requires criminal background check, drug test, skills assessment and former employer vetting.
