Reports To: Manufacturing Supervisor

Location: Royston, GA

Position Summary (major areas of contribution):

The Press Break Operator shall perform all types of Press Break duties in a safe, and productive manner.

Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:

• Read and understand drawings, sketches and blueprints.
• Complete machine setup by selecting the proper dies for production and adjusting pressures accordingly.
• Know bend allowances for different metal gauges.
• Form parts rapidly and efficiently while handling materials in a safe manner without damage.
• Perform Brake Press work whether standard, special or extremely complicated on all types of material without supervision.
• Observe all safety regulations.

Minimum Qualifications / Skills:

Including Formal Training (courses, degrees, and credentials required):

• High School Diploma or higher
• Must be able to read and understand assembly drawings, sketches and blueprints.
• Must be able to accurately identify measurements of parts and determine require machine operations from the measurement. Basic math and mechanical ability

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will go prolong periods standing or walking in an assigned area, is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must unaided lift up to 50 lbs.
