We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive commercial insurance account management knowledge and be adept at overseeing client communications, resolving conflicts, and ensuring compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Client Management:

  • Own the entire business development life cycle process from acquisition and onboarding to retention and renewal.
    • Provide strategic guidance, exposure analysis, and obtain underwriting information for new and renewal clients to comply with legal requirements.
    • Drive revenue and growth for the agency; Identify and pursue business opportunities with prospects; Build strong relationships with clients and provide consultation on their challenges.
    • Present proposals clearly and effectively to clients.
    • Identify and act on cross-sell opportunities where applicable and appropriate.
    • Service client's day to day needs (change requests, ID Cards, Certificates, renewals, cancellations, questions, claims, billing, etc…)
    • Office Hours are Monday to Friday 9AM-5PM EST. This role requires regular office attendance with some work-from-home flexibility on a case by case basis.

Process Improvement:

- Recommend continuous improvements to our business processes to increase sales, drive customer focus, build strategic relationships, and reduce operational costs.

Partner Relationship Building:

- Coordinate claims experiences (as needed) & oversee claims from start to finish, altering proactively management of any potential issues. - Build and maintain professional relationships with companies and teammates. - Engage in networking opportunities by attending industry and community events.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of various insurance products, their features, and how they apply to different client needs.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in using sales management tools, such as CRM software, to track and manage leads and client interactions effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of current industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in insurance sales and customer service.
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Insurance Certifications & License(s) as required by state regulations
  • Strong Organization & Time Management Skills
  • A commitment to learning and professional development
