Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist in the design and analysis of municipal infrastructure projects, including roadways, stormwater management systems, water distribution, and sewer systems.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and review engineering plans, specifications, and reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Field Work: Conduct site visits and inspections to collect data, assess project progress, and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Permitting and Compliance: Assist in the preparation of permit applications and ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and other team members to support project delivery and client satisfaction.


Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience. Internships or co-op experience in municipal engineering is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with GIS software is desirable.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
