Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSmall Group Personal Trainer specializes in organizing and facilitating small group training sessions:


  • Create Small Group Personal Training class schedule, routines
  • Build member participation, retention and word of mouth referrals
  • Ensure safety and monitor exertion levels of participants
  • Modify and customize workouts to accommodate various skill levels
  • Take responsibility for cleaning and sanitization and proper storage of equipment used
  • Complete required educational modules and show a desire for continual learning
  • Attend fitness department staff meetings
  • Supportive team player, role model and collaborator
  • Provide member feedback, program concerns or questions to Management in a timely fashion
Your talents and credentials:


  • Passion for improving the lives of others with a can-do positive attitude
  • Effective, engaging and welcoming interpersonal communication skills
  • Desire and capacity to adapt training to diverse ages and fitness levels
  • Must hold and maintain professional fitness certification from approved agency such as ACSM, ACE, NASM, AFFA, NFPT or related and CPR/AED certification
  • Bachelors degree in an exercise related field, preferred
  • 1 year experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry
Schedule to be determined. Flexibility days, evenings, weekends. Part time with growth potential into full time. Competitive compensation and incentives.
