HR Intern

The primary project of the 2024 HR intern is to work alongside managers and department leaders to finalize job descriptions for every position at AMBA and import the corresponding position information, pay grade, EEOC classification, Worker’s Compensation code, and FLSA status into Paylocity.

The internship begins June 2024 and will run through August 2024, but our hope is that the lessons you learn will carry forward as you later embark on your career in your chosen field.

If you're interested in HR, we have resources available through our intern program to help you succeed. We offer an extensive Intern program that provides the following takeaways:

· Gain a thorough understanding of EEOC job classifications, Worker’s Compensation codes, and FLSA statuses

· Collaborate with AMBA people leaders and employees to learn each position and the associated responsibilities

· Learn how to use the Paylocity HRIS system

You will have access to work with and learn from other team members within the organization to evolve your HR skills. You will also meet with a mentor to discuss learnings and career goals.

Requirements:

· Candidates should be entering their junior or senior year of college with at least a 3.00 GPA

· Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related areas of study

· Be a self-starter with the ability to learn new concepts quickly

· Exhibits analytical and problem-solving skills

· Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills

· These positions are required to be in-office, so candidates must have reliable transportation
