We are currently seeking a Linen Associate for our client Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.


Linen Associates are responsible for distributing clean linen and collecting soiled linen within the hospital. They are also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the linen room and ensuring it meets all necessary linen storage requirements.  Linen Associates must be able to walk long distances and able to push and pull our linen carts which can weigh up to 450 pounds. These carts are on rollers. 


We are seeking someone who will be able to:


  • Order and maintain accurate inventory within linen room and corresponding hospital(s).
  • Verify accuracy of linen orders prior to delivery.
  • Deliver linen orders to departments within the hospital.
  • Collect soiled linens from departments within the hospital and consolidate and place linen carts in assigned areas.
  • Assist Customer Service Reps with urgent requests for linen delivery within the hospital.
  • Ensure linen rooms are clean and well organized at all times.
  • Keep supervisor and/or Customer Service Rep aware of service problems or concerns within the hospital.
  • Comply with all hospital rules and regulations as applicable.
