Duties:

  • Supervision and Leadership:
  • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department at Everhome Suites.
  • Supervise and lead a team of Room Attendants, Inspectors, and other housekeeping staff.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Set and maintain high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the hotel.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during inspections.
  • Staff Training and Development:
  • Train and mentor housekeeping staff, ensuring they are well-versed in cleaning protocols and service standards.
  • Implement ongoing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the housekeeping team.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of housekeeping supplies.
  • Scheduling and Coordination:
  • Create and maintain schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring proper coverage.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to coordinate cleaning schedules and special requests.
  • Budget Management:
  • Assist in the development and management of the housekeeping department budget.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably as an Executive Housekeeper.
  • In-depth knowledge of housekeeping management practices and industry standards.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
