We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager to lead our sales and operations for the South Texas market. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in lumber sales and distribution, along with proven leadership skills to effectively manage a team and drive business growth. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
  • Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish relationships with potential clients.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to adjust strategies and maximize profitability.


  1. Operations Management:
  • Oversee all operational activities, including inventory management, logistics, and order fulfillment.
  • Ensure efficient and timely delivery of products to customers while minimizing costs.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.


  1. Team Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor sales and operations staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to support the professional growth of team members.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and innovation.


  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and suppliers.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.


  1. Financial Management:
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget for the region, including sales forecasts and expense planning.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Implement cost-saving measures and identify opportunities for revenue growth.
