Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Bakery Assistant to join our team at Linvilla Orchards. As a Bakery Assistant, you will work closely with our bakery manager and assistant bakery manager to ensure the smooth operation of our bakery. This position involves early morning shifts starting at 7 AM and includes tasks such as panning products, taking items in and out of the oven, and prepping items as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the baker with daily tasks, including panning products and preparing items for baking.

- Operate ovens, ensuring products are baked to perfection and timed accurately.

- Prepping and preparing various bakery items as directed by the bakery manager.

- Lift and transport heavy items (up to 50 pounds) as required.

- Work in the walk-in freezer to organize and retrieve products as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all health and safety guidelines.

- Collaborate closely with the bakery manager and assistant bakery manager to meet daily production goals.

- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies.

- Previous experience in a bakery or food production environment is preferred.

- Ability to work the early morning shift starting at 7 AM.

- Capability to lift and carry heavy items up to 50 pounds.

- Comfort working in a walk-in freezer for extended periods.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
