Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOpenwork, is working with a manufacturing company in Round Rock, TX that is looking for an Electronics Production Team Lead As an Electronics Production Team Lead you will efficiently coordinate the work of the production team members involved in the electronic operations.Responsibilities:
  • Optimize production build plan to meet order commit dates.
  • Oversees process and material flows, space management that will maximize utilization of space designated for assigned operation.
  • Sets daily priorities of production staff in assigned area.
  • Follows and enforces work rules and process documentation.
  • Oversees employee training.
  • Monitors quality of incoming raw material and finished product.
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned by management.
Requirements:
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and engineering specifications.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
  • Capable of using measuring devices to perform product inspection.
  • Demonstrated coaching and/or mentoring leadership style.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize issues with little supervision.
  • Self-motivated but comfortable seeking direction when appropriate.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Customer Service, Operations Management and Engineering organizations.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs

Hours:
  • Roughly about 3:30pm - 12:00amm M-F (OT Required 2 hours after shift during busy season, and some mandatory Saturday's)
