POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the successful operation of the Division under the supervision of the Divisional Manager. The Divisional Auditor is responsible for achieving satisfactory sales and profits as set forth by a specific operating budget. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Auditor over 58 Priceless, IGA, Save A Lot & Tobacco Shops in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina & Tennessee with overall annual sales of $200+ Million.
  • Advise, audit and train District & Store management on budgets, P&L, personnel functions, loss prevention, safety issues, accounting practices.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and OSHA.
  • Present ideas to the Division Manager to improve operations and save the company money.
  • Report any operational issues to the Division Manager that could create a negative impact on the division.
  • Audit safes and deposits to ensure all financial records are correct and up to date.
  • Analyze monthly recaps for accuracy and ensure there is no wasteful spending.
  • Manage spreadsheets to ensure follow through on task for the entire division.
  • Monitor cameras for theft or operational issues.
  • Ensure inventory procedures are followed and create methods to get the most accurate counts.
  • Assist Division Manager in any current or future operation opportunities.
  • Will require travel and some overnights.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
