Position Title: Maintenance Planner

Plant Location: Bath, PA

About the Role:

Keystone Cement Company is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan all mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance work from day-to-day activities to major. Also, maintain the work order system, equipment lists, and historical data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning meetings to discuss work of the current week, the following week, and any future relevant work.
  • Prepare the daily job assignment sheet ensuring all needed spare parts and equipment are available.
  • Plan the winter outage and any other planned outage for all aspects of maintenance and contracted work.
  • Maintain work order system for all planned plant repairs and outages updating with pertinent tracking information.
  • Become an expert with SAP and project planning software to meet your job accountabilities.
  • Assist the maintenance manager in preparing the maintenance budget based on the upcoming preventative maintenance and outage plan.
  • Write Safe Job Procedures for large and/or complex jobs that include all safety procedures.
  • Become familiar with our predictive maintenance programs (vibration and oil analysis) and use this data to help plan the preventive maintenance program.
  • Maintain maintenance planning information for analysis and tracking to prepare and issue reports as requested.
  • Prepare parts usage reports and prepare purchase requisitions with recommended adjustments in inventory levels to meet planned requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining Purchasing and Maintenance files relating to planning.

Requirements:

  • Technical school or college degree in related field required. Consideration will be given to work experience.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in industrial manufacturing setting as a maintenance planner/coordinator or supervisor.
  • Experience using a computerized maintenance management system required.
  • An understanding of, and commitment to, the highest standards of industrial workplace safety, environmental compliance, dependability, and professional workmanship is essential.
  • Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Successfully interact in a team environment.
  • Read and interpret documents such as SOPs, safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Physically inspect plant properties where climbing steps, ladders, and physical exertion at high elevations is required.
  • Wear the required MSHA safety equipment, including respirator (when needed).
  • Work in dusty, noisy, high temperature environment in all types of weather conditions.
