New Orleans LPN/LVN Needed

Louisiana Nurse Staffing is actively seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and contribute to the healthcare needs of the New Orleans Area. We collaborate with local hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and senior living communities to provide staffing solutions. Whether you prefer contractual commitments or PRN shifts, Louisiana Nurse Staffing has flexible opportunities available for LPNs.
Position Overview:
As an LPN with Louisiana Nurse Staffing, your role will involve a variety of essential tasks aimed at delivering exceptional patient care:
Patient-Centered Care: You will be responsible for planning and managing patient care, tailoring it to each patient's specific needs.
Comprehensive Assessment: Conduct interviews to collect patients' medical histories and assess their physical conditions. Obtain vital signs, including pulse, blood pressure, temperature, and respiration.
Routine Patient Care: Provide essential care and support, ensuring patients are comfortable and their needs are met.
Health Monitoring: Continuously observe patients' health and promptly report any changes.
Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical charts to facilitate effective patient care.
Patient Assistance: Accompany patients to their rooms, assist physicians and registered nurses, and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Diagnostic Procedures: Perform standard diagnostic procedures such as EKG, phlebotomy, venipuncture, PFT, and Doppler.
Lab Support: Prepare specimens for lab courier services.
Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications safely and accurately.
Wound Care: Offer wound care as needed.
Injections and Enemas: Prepare and administer injections and/or enemas as directed by healthcare providers.
Patient Comfort: Assist with ensuring patients' comfort and monitor catheters.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this rewarding LPN role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- A valid nursing license in the state of Louisiana
- CPR
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an LPN
