Role and Responsibilities:

This position will work primarily with EDEN-owned properties. Responsibilities are to repair and maintain EDEN-owned housing units, including headquarters. This includes fulfilling work order requirements and assisting in carrying out preventative maintenance activities. This person must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Must have valid driver's license and insurance. They must be able to take part in an on-call rotation schedule which includes nights and weekends. Position will report directly to your Supervisor.

  • We are seeking a person with the following skills.
  • Highly-organized person
  • Good customer service skills
  • Able to deal with high volume of work
  • Ability to complete paperwork in a timely manner
  • Skills in general building maintenance
  • Skills in areas of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
  • Able to prioritize work orders and schedule jobs
  • Ability to asses maintenance- related problems and troubleshoot them Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Trade and/or technical school training and a minimum of 2 years related work experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic are preferred. Also required is a valid OH driver's license, with good driving record, operable vehicle and proof of insurance
