Lone Star Corporation is searching for a full-time Fleet Technician that has a track record of successful management over a large company fleet subject to DOT regulations. The Fleet Technician will be responsible for maintenance and light repairs on all fleet vehicles. Seeking a knowledgeable and organized team player with a strong passion for working closely with employees to improve the quality and safety of their work environment.
Daily Activities
- Will report directly to the Diesel Mechanic and assist with any task.
- Maintains service operations by assisting mechanic.
- Completing preventative maintenance, such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, brake changes, tire changes and replacing filters.
- Test drive vehicles.
- Follows check list to ensure all important parts are examined.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the fleet maintenance
- Able to perform heavy duty physical activity, including bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, pulling, and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- CDL is a plus.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal and leadership abilities
- Proficiency in English however ability to speak fluent Spanish is a plus.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have a Valid Driver's license and a clean driving record.
Compensation
Salary depends on experience.
