Picker Packer

Our Picker / Packer position is an order filler in our warehouse and is responsible for completely and correctly pulling customer orders and delivering them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, accuracy, and productivity. This is a first shift position. The ideal candidate must be able to work overtime as needed.
Regular Work Hours: Monday -Friday 6:30 AM to 3 PM (overtime as needed)
Responsibilities:
- Select correct stock items and quantity for each pick ticket efficiently and deposit to the packing line. This requires travel throughout the warehouse and use of material handling equipment.
- Identify and report quality variances.
- Efficiently pack customer orders for shipment, including weighing and repacking if necessary.
- Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work areas.
- Assist with quality control, physical inventory, packing, containers, cash and carry freight and invoicing, as assigned.
Qualifications and Skill Set:
- Previous warehouse or fulfillment center experience a plus, but not required.
- Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to work in a team environment but perform tasks independently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing.
- Strong attention to safety and knowledge of safety programs/policies
- This is a physical job and requires standing and moving around a warehouse. Duties also require sitting, stooping, and reaching (above shoulder heights up to 84" and below the waist), lifting (up to 50 lbs.), ability to climb a ladder and work overhead.
- Proper lifting technique and adherence to safety guidelines is required.
