Overview:
The Behavior Treatment Specialist supports the Ingham Academy and Horizon Programs by engaging with students, helping them to maximize their strengths, build assets, a solid educational foundation and successful community-based living.

You will work directly with groups of students through regularly planned structured group activities such as ART or T4C groups, recreational therapy, special development groups, study hours, program-wide groups and activities.
The hours are 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma and 3 years of experience working with students.
  • 2 Years of college (Assoc. Degree) and 2 yrs. experience working with students.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience working with students.

Travel Requirement:

Daily travel includes transporting students to and from Ingham Academy, appointments, and/or other activities.
Chauffeur's license required, or must have ability to obtain.
