Quality Control Specialist

Banesco USA is seeking a Quality Control Specialist for our Deposit Operations Team.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Conduct thorough audits of forms and documents that support system data to ensure compliance, completeness and accuracy.
  • Verify that all required information is present and matches the established guidelines.
  • Ensure that data is entered accurately and efficiently into designated databases and systems.
  • Double-check data entries to identify errors, escalate for correction when needed, in order to maintain high data quality.
  • Enforce quality control procedures for data entry processes.
  • Collaborate with team members including those in other departments to address any discrepancies or issues promptly.
  • Adhere to data security protocols to maintain confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Report and if needed escalate any concerns related to data quality or security to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to team members in data-related tasks and projects, especially ones that streamline processes without compromising security.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth data flow and address any data-related queries.
  • Ability to complete QC reviews within the established SLA.
  • Ensure that information that is entered or changed has the appropriate authority.
  • Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Experience: 1 year in banking operations or retail banking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data entry and auditing.
  • Proficient and advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), using spreadsheets and data entry software.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience in data entry or quality control, though not required.
  • Familiarity with data management tools and software. Knowledge of basic data validation techniques.
  • Must be bilingual in both English and Spanish. Ability to fluently speak, understand, read and write both languages.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to be adaptable and flexible to change; comfortable with ambiguity when dealing with new tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, working with integrity and ethically, upholding the organizational values.
  • Strong presentation skills to all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently ensuring timely deliverables.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in daily tasks ensuring assignments are completed accurately and on time.
