Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on HVAC systems within the apartment complex.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC systems and components, experience with PTAC systems not required but is a bonus.
  • Ensure all HVAC systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
  • Respond to tenant reports of HVAC issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance schedules, repairs, and replacements.
  • Advise management on major repairs or equipment replacements as needed.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for onsite duties.
  • Journeyman HVAC certification or nearing completion of certification courses within 6 months.
  • Experience with residential HVAC systems.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with tenants and team members.

WORK SCHEDULE

This full-time position typically works 40 hours/week from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm in addition to on-call hours.
