One Class Global is looking for new team members to help us continue our growth and expansion. We are currently working throughout the US focusing on Industrial Construction.


Summary

The Construction Engineer supports field activities and spends a majority of time working with the Project Manager supporting project administration on multiple small projects, or one medium to large-size projects. Activities include cost& quantity evaluation, schedule, and constructability.


Duties & Responsibilities

The Construction Engineer will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. Note that the areas listed are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by co-workers assigned to this role. The construction engineer position reports directly to our senior engineers and project managers.


Our main scopes of constructions are various piping, utility equipment and duct installations for various plants including semiconductor fabrication plants and battery plants. This position therefore, requires engineering knowledge of cost-estimation for piping and duct installation to support senior engineer and supervisors on management of cost and schedule.

Communicating with vendors and sub-contractors for bid


This position requires listed below;

- Cost-estimating experiences on various piping, duct and equipment installation.

- Capability of reading 2D and/or 3D drawing (e.g. CAD)

- Knowledge of codes and specs including ASME, Federal-County and International Building Code.

- Good communication with vendors and sub-contractors for bid


Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering

Preferred in Mechanical Engineering

+2 years of experience preferred but not required.

Blueprint drawing skills (e.g. CAD) preferred but not required.

Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills

Effective and efficient problem solving and decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive, and creative.

Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them.

Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferably bilingual (English & Korean).
