We are looking for an ace Inventory Specialist at The Waterworks in Columbus. Could we be the right fit for you? If you want to work for a growing company, a great boss and get excellent benefits, then we might be the right company for you This position will be responsible for the purchasing and inventory control of all Plumbing and Drain Cleaning materials and accessories, to include but are not limited to:
- Using the company's inventory management system to create purchase orders and maintain an accurate inventory.
- Organize and maintain warehouse and yard areas for efficient storage and handling.
- Coordinate and provide delivery of materials to in-field job sites.
- Negotiate pricing to obtain the best value.
- Monitor and maintain optimal levels of stock for both warehouse inventory and in-truck inventories.
- Analyze trends in vendor pricing and delivery with sales activity for timing of purchases.
- Develop stock locations and order picking strategies to optimize workflow, space utilization and labor productivity.
- Implement robust inventory tagging procedures using bar coding.
- Works with manufactures and vendors on return of defective or surplus inventory.
- Reconciles invoices from vendors.
- Manage RFS usage with inventory and identify issues/opportunities.
- Communicate with Technicians on their needs, particularly special order items.

Requirements:- Must hold valid driver's license with 4 or fewer points on driving record for insurability.
- OSHA certified Forklift Operator
- 3-5 Years of Purchasing and/or Inventory Control experience.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management systems, Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
- 2-5 years of Plumbing Industry-specific practical experience a plus.
- Ability to adapt to fast paced and changing challenges, sometimes with tight deadlines.
