Job Summary

Are you an energetic leader with a passion for transforming dining experiences? We're seeking a dynamic Director of Dining Services to lead our team at St. Francis Xavier Schools in delivering outstanding service and unforgettable culinary adventures for our premiere K12 school districts located in Appleton, WI. From strategic planning to operational excellence to marketing, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting the future of our dining services. This position will also support our Appleton School District two days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account.
  • Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
  • Works with the team in creating nutritious and top-quality food for the students.
  • Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
  • Acts as a liaison between the Chartwells, Client, and the community.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of a dining service operation.
  • Coordinates content needed for marketing initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Food Services Technology/Management/Hospitality preferred but not mandatory
  • Two+ years of foodservice management experience preferred.
  • Food Service Dining experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Financial and strong intuition for business.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with Adobe suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Previous experience with marketing (retail food signage, merchandising retail food displays, coordinates content) would be a plus
