With in-house engineering expertise and automated technologies for superior quality, PMT is a flexible and accessible partner when you can’t afford any errors.

What you’ll do:

  • Receive RFQs from existing and potential customers via e-mail, portals, fax, telephone, etc
  • Maintain customer records using automated systems including Salesforce and IQMS
  • Identify prospective customers through business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and/or attending trade shows and conferences
  • Develop sales estimates, including the collection of all actual and estimated costs for a sales opportunity
  • Act as the first customer interface for all commercial communications
  • Follow-up directly with the customer during the entire sales cycle
  • Make recommendations on pricing and margins based upon knowledge of the potential sales account
  • Develop relationships with customers to promote PMT, and leverages that relationship to aid in award wins
  • Prepare Cost Breakdown sheets in customer-requested format
  • Log RFQs, updates Sales Opportunity reports and maintains Key Performance Indicators
  • Conduct feasibility reviews with engineering, production and quality departments to ensure quoting parameters, raw materials and customer requirements are met
  • Request raw material quotes from suppliers and meets with suppliers to review quotes
  • Prepare electronic bids via customer portals
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with existing/potential customers
  • Assist Customer Service and Accounting departments with pricing discrepancies
  • Review initial Purchase Orders with Customer Service to ensure accuracy of pricing and terms
  • Notify departments of newly awarded business
  • Generate Electronic Project Folders, tooling summaries and BOM checklists
  • Complete customer capacity spreadsheets and any other forms required by customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

  • Associate's degree or greater
  • 3+ years of experience as a full charge sales specialist
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong time management skills
