Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Med Surg RN to join our dynamic team in Atlanta, GA. As a Med Surg RN, you will be responsible for providing exceptional nursing care to patients on our medical/surgical unit. This position requires a deep commitment to patient well-being, clinical expertise, and effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with healthcare team members.
  • Monitoring and managing patient symptoms and conditions, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Educating patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and home care needs.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in Georgia.
  • At least three (3) years of current experience in an acute care, medical/surgical unit in an urban, academic Medical Center setting (exclusive of agency assignments).
  • Must have worked within the last six (6) months in the above settings to ensure familiarity with current practices and protocols.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
