Position: Resident Advisor


Job Summary: Supporting individuals in recovery with day-to-day tasks and collaborating with various departments to promote a supportive and effective recovery environment.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery residing in the housing program
  • Monitor resident progress and ensure adherence to program expectations
  • Completes billing and documentation accurately in a timely manner in accordance with agency expectations
  • Evaluate daily living functioning and assist residents in creating goals to maintain sobriety
  • Attending Ohio Recovery Housing training and conferences as scheduled and complete ORH surveys
  • Participation in community activities best represents the professional image of Lighthouse
  • Keep well documented notes and communicate daily shift notes with housing supervisor
  • The Resident Advisor will serve as a role model, act as a mentor, advocate and motivator


Required Experience/Certifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma/ GED
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Records systems
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and insurance
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug
  • Must be willing to obtain your CMS certification upon hire (must be eligible to bill Medicaid)
  • Familiarity with computers and technology/ computer programs (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams)


Schedule

2nd shift 4pm - 12:30pm (days and hours may vary depending on business need)
