Job Summary:
We. Are seeking an experienced **Mainframe ADABAS & Natural Developer** to join our team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on experience working with ADABAS and Natural on mainframe platforms. This role demands in-depth knowledge and expertise in these technologies to support and enhance our mainframe systems.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using ADABAS and Natural in a mainframe environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Optimize* and tune existing ADABAS databases to improve performance and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ADABAS and Natural applications, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers on the team.
-prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications.
- Support migration efforts, where applicable, and ensure smooth transitions of data and applications.

Required Skills:

- 10+ years of experience working with ADABAS and Natural on mainframe platforms.
- Proficiency in ADABAS (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of Natural programming language.
- Experience with JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe tools.
- Experience in the transportation or transit industry is a plus.
- Familiarity with NJ Transit systems and processes.
- Experience in migrating or upgrading mainframe systems.
