Job Summary:


Remix team is the face of the company to our valued customers. We build the best teams to deliver on our promises. If you have a passion for this environment, have; creative, artistic, decorating, merchandising knowledge and/or experience reselling, or just an avid thrift store shopper yourself with a knack for pricing come join and help us make the world a better place

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


Cashiering
Restocking
Cleaning -dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, stocking restrooms and more
Assisting with social media accounts
Teamwork, communication, and adaptability
Serve as the point person in store -provide excellent customer service
Move furniture- assist with lifting into customers cars, re-arranging and stocking sales floor
Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions and Qualifications:


Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must: this is a customer-facing role
Relevant sales experience
Ability to learn and use technology
Attention to detail
Exhibit a strong safety attitude
Ability to influence and lead team(s)
Ability to work weekends
Working smart phone required
Intense drive for results and ability to preserve and overcome obstacles
Knowledge of antique/modern furniture, collectibles, books, vintage/designer clothing, and the second hand internet industry, desired but not required
High standard of performance and sense of urgency to get things done
Spanish speaking, desired but not required
High school Diploma or GED, desired but not required
Warehouse environment with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures
Spends much of the shift standing, with frequent bending, lifting, and carrying and/or pushing/pulling of objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds with assistance
Thrift store and/or retail experience, desired but not required

This position starts at $17/HR with an increase to $18/HR after training. This is a part time position with potential to full time based on needs of company.
