Junior Attorney

Our client, an international and diversified company headquartered in NY, is looking for a Junior Attorney to support the Chairman. This role centers around supporting their real estate and financial growth. This role is located in Northern NJ in Bergen County 

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with clients providing legal advice and set legal strategies to help clients determine the best possible outcome for transactions and legal concerns.
• Attend client meetings for strategy and case assessment.
• Assist clients in determining solutions to business and legal conflicts.
• Attend meetings and review/approve/finalize non-attorney work.
• Create legal documents including correspondence, contracts, agreements, negotiations, and proceedings.
• Manage the office of the Chairman and supervise non-attorney matters in maintaining calendars and deadlines. 
  

Desired Qualifications:

• Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA), preferred, not required
• Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills
• Successful completion of the bar exam
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• Proven leader who displays sound judgment and attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Capable networker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• NY/NJ Bar license preferred
• Flexible schedule/availability, weekends not required
