- This position is responsible for maintaining a high-energy and a positive environment. The Assistant Salon Director helps drive store performance, fosters superior client service, and maintains operational excellence to meet or exceed established productivity goals. This individual will manage and supervise Tanning Consultants to achieve company goals and will lead by example in all company operations. The Assistant Salon Director fosters a sense of urgency to achieve objectives and holds the team accountable for delivering an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
- Lead by example in all company operations.
- Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
- Provides coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members daily performance.
- Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while also controlling labor costs.
- Ability to work nights as well as Saturdays and Sundays as required to provide management coverage.
- Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and work up to 40 hours a week.
- Management and/or Sales experience required.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
- Strong leaderships skills.
- Ability to prioritize and delegate.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend at the waist to clean tanning equipment.
- Ability to bend down to pick up trash, towels, etc. from the floors.
- Ability to perform salon cleaning functions.
